Ride For Rwanda

Ride for Rwanda

Not but 15 years ago, Rwanda experienced one of the worst genocides the world has ever known. For 100 days of pure terror, victims throughout the country watched as friends and family members were massacred before their very eyes. Today, the emotional pieces of Rwanda are still being put back together.

The Summer of 2007 was a critical inaugural piece to that healing process. Kids Across Africa-Rwanda was then launched with a vision of restoration for the next generation of youth. Christian based sports camps were strategically organized to create platforms to impact youth throughout the country. This summer, Kids Across Africa-Rwanda plans to build on where they left off.

The goal of RIDE FOR RWANDA is to organize an event which local athletes can use their hobby of cycling as a tool to create exposure and to financially contribute to the cause of this healing process.
