Our Project

Kids Across Africa Camps-Rwanda plans to build a camp and retreat facility on two hundred acres at Lake Burera in northern Rwanda. We have launched a campaign to raise the construction funds needed to make this dream a reality.

KAAC-R is being designed to host 250 children, 50 group leaders, and 75 staff members per seven-day camp session. During these sessions, campers will meet fellow youth from throughout Rwanda and build relationships with group leaders and staff members who are dedicated to sharing the message of God’s hope and love. Camp will offer sports and activities such as aquatics, basketball, boating, soccer and tennis. KAAC-R will also include a gymnasium, outdoor chapel, office, nurse’s station, boat dock and lodging.

Kids Across Africa Camps-Rwanda intends that participants will leave camp sessions with a balanced perspective on life and will be equipped as servant leaders to bring the message of God's unconditional love and acceptance back to their families, schools and communities.
